For Christ Lutheran School in Norfolk, Nebraska, aging facilities hindered the school’s ability to grow. For 20 years, the school community dreamed of new facilities to usher in a bright future. But raising enough funds seemed like a challenge. To make this dream a reality, Christ Lutheran partnered with the Steier Group for the Uniting to Grow campaign.
This fundraising effort aimed to raise funds for a new activity center, replacing two outdated wings of the school. This new center would house a band room, new gymnasium with two courts, office space and a multipurpose room. In order to help this community achieve its dream, the Steier Group expanded the campaign reach beyond the school. By engaging Christ Lutheran Church and others in the Norfolk area, the campaign exceeded the Steier Group’s projections and raised more than $8.7 million. After a long wait, the Christ Lutheran School community will finally have new facilities to serve its students.
